A flat dose price is not a flexible purchase term
The homepage FAQ says the price does not rise with a dose change within the same medication and treatment plan. It separately says pricing varies with the selected four-, twelve-, twenty-four- or fifty-two-week plan. Those statements can coexist: a dose-independent price still depends on the length of the purchase.
The reviewed public homepage did not tie each $69 or $119 headline to a complete selected invoice and renewal amount. We therefore do not call either figure a verified pay-as-you-go price or multiply it into a promised annual total. Obtain the full charge, supply duration and future billing schedule for the offer presented to you.
The two headings are medication categories. A GLP-1 label does not identify a manufacturer-branded prescription, and the GLP-1/GIP label is not a branded Zepbound offer. Have the clinician identify the actual preparation. The homepage describes compounded drugs and says they have not been evaluated or approved by FDA.

No separate membership fee still involves a subscription
Embody says there is no membership or hidden fee and that medication is included. Its August 25 refund policy calls the purchase a bundled subscription service, potentially including clinical review, medication where appropriate and other services. No separate membership charge does not mean there is no automatic recurring arrangement.
The policy says the subscription begins when payment is submitted. It makes ordinary payments final at purchase, even if an intake is never completed or the program goes unused. A completed order is therefore a meaningful financial step before a reader knows whether a particular prescription will be issued.

Use the written cancellation deadline
The homepage says to cancel before the next medication shipment and notes that processed shipments affect the next cycle. The detailed policy and general terms specify notice at least 72 hours before the next billing date. A shipment date and a billing cutoff are not interchangeable. Obtain both dates and use the selected written agreement when planning cancellation.
Cancellation can be requested through the patient portal or the support contact listed in the policy. A timely cancellation stops future renewal; it does not refund the current paid term. A request inside the 72-hour window can leave another nonrefundable charge due before cancellation takes effect.
For a multi-month purchase, the policy treats the full term as one nonrefundable bundle. It explicitly excludes ordinary refunds for unused months and unshipped medication. Do not interpret monthly deliveries as monthly installments that can all be reversed when the service is no longer wanted.

Medical disqualification is a limited exception
If a provider determines that a member is not clinically eligible, the policy describes ending the subscription and refunding the unused portion. It deducts the value of services already provided, which can include reviewing records or an intake, a consultation, prescriptions, medication or laboratory services. This is not a blanket full-refund guarantee for every declined applicant.
The policy describes replacement as the remedy for damaged or incorrect items, with evidence requested for damage. Those are the company’s published commercial rules, not our conclusion about an individual dispute or every right that may apply. Ask for the calculation and the appropriate clinical or pharmacy contact if the prescribed item is wrong or unusable.

Identify the platform, medical group and pharmacy
The company identifies Modern Metabolic Medicine, Inc. as the entity operating Embody. Its homepage says medical treatment is provided through OpenLoop Health’s affiliated professional network. It lists Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx as pharmacy partners. A partner list does not identify which pharmacy will dispense an individual prescription.
The terms separate the platform from the professional judgment of clinicians, pharmacies and laboratories. Request the actual assigned entities and confirm how medication questions reach the prescriber. The homepage’s optional live-visit language is a description of its workflow; a clinician may still request more information. A claim of expedited shipping or round-the-clock support is not an independently measured clinical response time.

Treat the patient journey as marketing, not an outcome study
Embody describes progress across the first months of treatment and presents testimonials. Its footer says some advertising imagery may use models and some materials may be generated or enhanced with artificial intelligence. That disclosure does not prove any individual account false; it does mean an image should not be treated as independent evidence of a patient’s result.
We did not verify a clinical cohort, laboratory quality, dispensing performance or the response time of the care team. FDA’s guidance distinguishes compounded preparations from approved products; neither a familiar ingredient name nor a patient story establishes equivalent safety, effectiveness or quality for a particular compounded prescription.
Our practical assessment is to compare the full selected term before using the flat-rate headline. The current written refund policy is more consequential than the no-extra-membership slogan. Resolve the upfront charge, billing cutoff, disqualification deductions and assigned pharmacy before deciding whether the commitment fits.
